FACES was founded in 1988 by three women, Cheryl Ramirez, Shelly Anthony and Mary O'Connor,  who saw a need for low and no-cost services for separating and divorced families. The women had worked with families going through divorce and domestic violence issues, and they realized that more help and support is needed for families-in-crisis.

 

FACES is committed to building healthy families and preventing domestic violence by providing counseling, educational groups, and supervised visits for family preservation and divorce help. Our intervention services are outcome-based, integrated treatment models that produce tangible results. We offer services on a sliding-fee scale, dependent on income; with certain programs, our services are free of charge.
