Tennille Parish, AMFT
Executive Director
LA Office Director
Tennille Parish is an experienced therapist with a background in working with at risk youth in group homes and with homelessness and mental health.
In 2022 the Board of Directors named Tennille Parish as FACES Executive Director. Tennille began her journey with FACES first as a volunteer counselor and later became the founder and director of our Los Angeles office with Dayna Moore.
She provides FACES the professional guidance and manages the day to day operations.

Sina Maa-Kapesi
Administration & Accounting
Sina Maa-Kapesi has been providing comprehensive office management administrative support, bookkeeping, oversees data management, problem solving, training office staff and paying our bills for several years. She oversees the office staff and Program Assistants.

Shelly Gutensohn LMFT
Clinical Supervisor
Once a volunteer for FACES, Shelly returned as our clinical supervisor, with an extensive experience in a variety of settings, including work with former incarceratied men and women and she has a private practice and a family!
Khayla Carsola, MFTI
Counseling Staff
Khayla studied Psychology at UC Irvine and is pursuing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University Worldwide. She is passionate about being able to support people navigate how to improve their relationships, increase self-esteem, and helping them find balance and support through difficult times. On her free time, she loves spending time with her toddlers and pets and challenging herself physically and mentally through reading books and physical activity.

Berenice Monnarez, an experienced bilingual counselor has been working with single parent families, and is working currently at the Anaheim Independencia FaCT Family Resource Center with families in transition.

I'm currently getting my masters at the university of Phoenix and graduate in February. I love going to the beach in my free time and spending time with my family. Alexandria Custer
Monitor
Alexandria graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She taught the parenting class from the El Modena Resource Center. Alexandria is a Certified Professional Monitor of Supervised Visitation out of the Fullerton office. She is also a field pioneer as the first Monitor to perform virtual visitation via Telehealth. Alexandria is currently attending California State University, Fullerton, to earn a Masters’s Degree in Counseling.
